INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we will store and handle that data and how we will keep it safe.

For simplicity, throughout this notice, “we”, “us” and WMTC” means Woodseats Musical Theatre Company.

With your permission, we collect and process your data eg: name, address, telephone number/s and email address/s, via form filling, or social media requests etc.

WHEN DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?

We collect personal data when:-

You contact us by telephone, email, social media through our website or attending rehearsals or performances.
At marketing or networking events, where we will only collect personal data and store it for marketing purposes when patrons give permission.

WHAT SORT OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

We collect data from Patrons that may include name, address, telephone number and email address. In the case of WMTC members this will include Date of Birth and emergency contacts of their family/friend for Health and Safety reasons.

HOW AND WHY DO WE USE PERSONAL DATA?

We use data to contact members/patrons regarding various situations linked to WMTC eg: rehearsal information, ticket orders etc. However, we do need permission to send marketing materials eg: flyers etc advertising our productions and will only do so if patrons agree to receiving such documents.

HOW DO WE PROTECT PERSONAL DATA?

We know how much data security matters to our patrons and members. With this in mind we treat data with the utmost care and take all appropriate steps to protect it.

All personal data and information supplied is held securely and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA?

WMTC will only keep personal data for as long as is necessary, for the purpose of which it was collected. For WMTC members only all data will be deleted at the end of the performance/financial year.

WHO DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH?

Data will not be shared with any third party, unless you give us direct permission.

WHERE PERSONAL DATA MAY BE PROCESSED ?

Personal data of WMTC members and patrons who have opted into receiving membership or marketing information will be kept on a secure computerised system.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS OVER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

You have the right to request:

A readable copy of the personal data we hold on you at any time. To do this, please contact info@woodseatsmtc.co.uk
The correction of personal data when incorrect, out of date or incomplete.
To ask us to delete data where we have no lawful basis for holding your data.
That we stop using personal data for direct marketing.
That we stop any consent-based processing or personal data after your consent is withdrawn

YOUR RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT

Whenever you have given us your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent.

To ask for personal data or to have it amended, please contact info@woodseatsmtc.co.uk.

Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information, including your e-mail address and possibly your address.

HOW TO STOP THE USE AND STORAGE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA.

You simply need to email info@woodseatsmtc.co.uk stating your name and the word unsubscribe. However, if you have shared any information with others through social media channels, that information may remain visible, even if your account is deleted.
